As I said before, everyone has their own ways to cope.
Early this morning I grabbed my camera and off I went. Straight to a garden center. It was not open, but I said I could still take some pictures. I found all kinds of beautiful flowers and trees, vegetables. For about one hour I didn’t think about anything but the fresh air while enjoying the colorful garden.

On every other road you travel in Vermont, there’s something beautiful to see.
I think my most favorite sight of all, are the homes. People who live out in the country side have many unique homes that sit on their pretty acres of land.
What about you? What do you like seeing when you’re driving on the country roads?
When it comes to lighting I believe that natural light is the best for photos.
Today, it was quite cloudy, which painted everything in a much more muted setting. This allowed for some really interesting shots. Here, I had my husband and son help me play around with some sticks and stones. The focus here was to really get close enough to see the different textures on all three objects. It felt like a ‘happy accident’, but my son managed to take an interesting shot of my hand near my husband’s. He called it a ‘pretty parallel’.
Another idea I had was to somehow combine some of these objects, and the mini trees you see here were the result of that. So as you can see, natural lighting can provide you with some unexpected opportunities!

Breakfast is the first meal of the day. Everyone has a different choice on breakfast, but this morning was special for my family, it was fathers day. So I made pancakes, sausage and made sure there were plenty of fruits and a special syrup made by my friends. Oh by the way if you want to taste the syrup you should contact them here: http://sweetstonemaple.com/
Why do I love seeing the sunset at the end of a long day? I love feeling its warmth as I watch it set into the horizon, and to capture beautiful moments either in my mind, or on my camera. Moments like these remind me why I’m alive: To witness nature’s beauty. It’s almost like losing myself in a living painting by John Singer Sargent… What do you think about when you sit there and watch the golden horizon of a setting sun? What do you feel? Peace? Love? Melancholy?
When it comes to gardening, there are so many designs you can choose from.
For instance consider a vertical herbs garden if you don’t have space to plant.

Here is DYI for your garden ideas. We found some pretty old drawers. It looked like it could be recycled into something else. What a better way than to use it as a garden box. With a half yard of soil from the near by garden center, filled the drawers shell and planted some tomatoes.
A lot of people do differentthings to deal with stress. The kids and I went out for a ride and we ended up on this road. It was calm, you could only hear the sound of the wind playing with the tree branches.

The best exercise to let go of the daily stress, run walk and listen to your favorite music.
Around here in my backyard we get to see a lot squirrels all the time. They are always moving from one tree to another looking for their nuts. In the spring they will eat the firs tree buds and the birds seed I have set up for the little birds. They love to dig tulips seeds, the have eating most of flowers. This one, seems to have not fear of humans she was very relaxed, I was able to take a few shots.

Go outside and get some fresh air’ is something we parents tell our kids all the time. Studies do show that taking a walk to the outdoors is very beneficial for our health. Exposure to nature is a great way to clear our heads and get a mental boost.
A little bit of walk through nature goes long ways. If you walk 15 to 30 minutes per day every day not only will help clear our minds but it will help with your health. Specially for our elderly people, keeping their chronic deceases in check.
